Not sure how Taco Tuesday came about! And I’m really not that interested in knowing why but I thank God for whoever decided to go with it because restaurants and bars are bringing on different deals. I was strolling on Instagram and I seen these fruity looking drinks and cute drinks always catch my attention lol. Anyway, i seen that this bar do Ladies Night Out on Tuesday’s and its Taco Tuesday like what a great combo.
Tiltz Sports Bar and Arcade is located on 942 Flushing Ave. in Brooklyn and I must say that I enjoyed going to this bar. The food was delicious, the drinks was hitting, the price was great, and they have arcade and board games to play (yup i peeped them uno cards). The scenery is great, very spacious, a little chilly but after a few drinks I didn’t feel it that much. Our server was kind and the over all environment on that particular night was real calm. This was my first time attending and so many people was asking me about it that I had to make a blog post on it. This won’t be my last time because I will be back. I have to try other items on the menu because the nachos looked bomb. You ever go out to eat and while you’re waiting for your food, your eyes always go to other people’s food as the server carries it out hoping it is yours but then they pass you by and you get a glimpse of the food and you say “That looks so good” lol yeah that happened when the nachos came out and some fries and a few other food items and drinks. Therefore, I need to go back and try some more.
So what I had at the bar is Spinach dip, build your own taco with shrimp, and their margarita flight.
My cousin and I shared the Popeyes Spin Art Dip which is pretty much spinach dip and it was fresh spinach, artichoke, Parmesan and cream cheese served with fried wonton chips. Those chips hit the spot. Next, I had build your own taco. Now i assume it was just choosing your ingredients but when they bought it out, you had to really build your own tacos. I thought that was pretty cool because i get to put what I want on it and i don’t care for tomatoes and i forgot to tell the server but when the plate came out it was all sectioned off so i just didn’t put it on. The Mango Thai Chili Shrimp was so good and i had more than enough for my tacos too. Also, when you build your own taco, the price range from $13-15 and it comes with a free margarita of your choosing and unlimited chips and salsa even though we didn’t get that (next time ima let them know).
Now the margarita flights comes in different flavors and they have a 4 for $10 and a 6 for $13. And those little drinks were packing with tequila. Very good for the price.
Now this deal was for Tuesday’s but they have happy hour and different deals on different days. If you follow them on IG or just randomly go then you would know. Trust me, i recommend this spot to anyone. Very chill, great food and drinks, different games, and friendly atmosphere. It is certainly worth it and if y’all go and don’t invite me, y’all all fake lol (just joking) but if you do go tag me in it so i can see! Go check it out!
